The VELA miniRITE class family, Demant’s latest hearing aid innovation, features the Sirius processor for superior sound clarity and rapid charging — and is the most compact rechargeable miniRITE model ever produced by Demant.
Through Demant’s Multi Brand Strategy, the company uses differentiation to achieve a large market share, satisfying different sales channels and customers. That is why Demant offers several hearing instrument brands to the market.
VELA had to serve all these different brands, meaning that three unique design expressions were created to fit one technical architecture.
Each of the main brands — Oticon, Philips and Bernafon — have their own unique signifiers that are carried through in each unique design expression.
Principal are the differences in shell geometries and detailing, while brand colourways further enable differentiation.
Comfort and discreetness are essential qualities in Demant hearing instruments, as is the importance of a snug fit on all ears.
